The Sandwich Democratic Town Committee believes that our state representative must demonstrate effective legislative success in pursuing both the shared interests of district residents and the vested interests of district towns. Although party affiliation is obviously important to many of us the fact of the matter is that effective legislative action in representation of the 5th Barnstable District is paramont for everyone. Concerns such as affordable health care, environmental security and protection, retirement security, employment, and fair taxation are not restricted to political affiliation. We therefore hope that our work on this Action Project will benefit all voters in making informed decisions.
